Our roads are used as a shortcut when Mawney Road is busy. Cars speed up Poplar, Willow, Cedar, Como, Olive and others. This is dangerous and residents regularly tell me about near misses and, in some unfortunate cases pets have been hurt and killed.

It is only a matter of time before something more serious happens.

Havering council refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem, so I am launching a petition calling on them to properly measure traffic on our roads. This will show them that the problem exists and we can then begin to work out an acceptable solution.
